Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNW individuals, partnerships, doctors, and directors/shareholders in family companies
  • Oversee personal tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day tax management and advisory support
  • Deliver expert tax planning and advisory services, including IHT, trust, estate tax, and non-UK domiciled client matters
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice, helping clients navigate complex tax matters
  • Work on estate planning, trust taxation, and inheritance tax strategies
  • Offer guidance on non-UK domiciled tax matters, ensuring compliance and optimisation
  • Assist in resolving tax disputes and HMRC queries where required
  • Support, mentor, and develop a team of Tax Assistants and Seniors, ensuring high standards of work
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive improvements in tax processes and client service delivery
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and technical development within the tax team

  • Experience working with non-UK domiciled individuals
  • Estate tax experience, including strategic tax planning
  • CTA qualification preferred, though candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
