Are you an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer? Are you experienced in Assembly and C programming and can work independently?
This company are in the process of upgrading all of their embedded and firmware systems for fire detection systems. Going through some exciting change and growth they now require a confident Embedded Firmware Engineer to help drive the growth and change required.
In this role, you will develop and optimise embedded software for new products and projects. This will include writing, debugging, and testing software programs, as well as enhancing and maintaining existing firmware by adding new features.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Assembly and C programming, analog and digital circuit design, and working with 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers. You will also have experience with peripheral buses like SPI and I2C, and communication technologies such as RS232, RS485, USB, and TCP/IP. The role involves algorithm development, scripting in Python or similar, automated build and unit testing, debugging with bench test equipment, and participating in document and code reviews.

The Role:
Develop and optimise embedded software for new products and projects.

The Person:
Proficient in Assembly and C programming languages.
Experience with analog and digital circuit design, and 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.
