You know that an apprenticeship in Quality is for you.
You know this because not only are you someone who wants to combine practical education with real work experience, you also want to earn whilst you learn in a team environment.
An apprenticeship in Quality means starting your career on the best possible terms;
The programme can take up to 4 years to complete
You will earn whilst you learn
The apprenticeship will give you on the job work experience combined with practical education
You will be supported by your mentor and coach to learn valuable skills and experience
Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will gain industry recognized accreditation
However, you may already hold either a mechanical or electrical qualification and would like to develop further.

BRC Reinforcements
If you have walked by a construction site today, you have walked past the products we make. Were one of the largest producers of Steel Reinforcement bar within the UK and have been involved in major projects such as the second Severn Crossing, the Principality Stadium and Wembley Stadium. All this backed by our Quality in both product and service standards.
Quality here means understanding manufacturing methods, monitoring and improving operating process, and influencing best practice in the production environment. To be able to have the knowledge and skills to work here means you need to be taught by some of the best in the industry. Which youll get.
What Youll Do
From sourcing raw material to customer receipt; Quality plays a key role in absolutely everything we do.
Building on your passion to get things right first time every time, as part of the Quality Team you will be supporting others in seeking ways of improving the customer experience, promoting better productivity and performance and constantly driving for excellence.
You will be at the forefront of influencing new operating procedure and developing improvement plans, maintaining certifications, assisting audits, and supporting ongoing training needs, helping those around you by sharing our combined learning experiences from these activities.
Challenging the status quo is all part of the role, adapting and seeking new ways of doing things; making a difference. Your first job however, is to learn and take in all the knowledge and skills that your lecturers, mentors and coach/instructors give you.
What You Gain
Not only will you gain invaluable Heavy Industry experience, youll also work towards (if you dont already have them) the following qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations
Level 3 NVQ in Technical Support
What You Need
Youll need bags of enthusiasm to work in this environment, as youll need to look after not only yourself but also your colleagues safety. Youll also have a natural curiosity for how things work and the desire to start a career in Quality.
Excellent communication and people skills are important as is strong self-motivation, planning and organisational skills is a given with an aptitude to adapt and always be ready to respond to challenges andchanging demands.
On top of that you will also need to have gained:
Four GCSEs at Grade C or above (Maths, English, Science and one other)
It would be desirable if you have already achieved the NVQ Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations with strong IT Skills.
