Full Time - 37 hours per week

My client are a large prestigious government organisation and are looking for an SC Cleared Graduate Data Scientist to come and join their team on an initial 12 month basis, paying a hourly rate of 20.47, inside IR35.

LIVE SC CLEARANCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE FOR THIS ROLE

Essential requirements of role:

  • Programming and build: You can write andtest, Python code to build data products for users. You can collaborate on code with other colleagues using version control and have an awareness of testing tools.
  • Data science innovation: You can identify efficient and effective ways to use data science to tackle business and organisational challenges, applying innovative techniques where relevant.
  • Applied maths, statistics, and scientific practices: You can apply mathematics and statistical methods to solve problems, conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to draw conclusions about your work.
  • Data engineering and manipulation: You have an awareness of the different tools that can be used to build data products (e.g. cloud infrastructure or software), and use effective approaches for cleaning, storing, and manipulating data.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo SC Clearance, therefore applicants must of resided in the UK for a minimum of five out of the last five years, in order to undergo this level of security check
