Job Description:

Are you a passionateTeachingAssistantorSupport Workerinterested in making a difference in the lives of young learners? Are you a comfortable working in a provisionsupporting children with a range of additional learning needs (ALN)?

As a TeacherAssistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely in theNurture Provisionof the school supportingprimary aged pupilswith a range of ALN, trauma and behaviour challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with social and emotional needs (SEMH).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting students' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to monitor and report on students' progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working as a TA, LSA, Support Worker or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in counselling, support/social work or special educational needs is preferred.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff.
