Great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to develop their career within a manufacturing environment

This is a full time, permanent, on-site position, Monday-Friday, typically 8am-4pm

Holiday allowance, 25 days plus bank holidays

To be considered for the role, we are looking for a candidate with CIPD Level 3, who has a desire for learning, and experience in the following:

  • Ideally, experience working in a fast-paced environment preferably FMCG with proven experience as a generalist HR Advisor
  • Ability to analyse data and generate reports.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

In your role as a HR Advisor:

  • To provide an effective, professional HR service to all employees to support the delivery of the people strategy and ensure the achievement of site strategic goals.
  • Support the HR team in the implementation of an integrated corporate HR strategy for, promoting legislative compliance and best practice
  • Support and advise Managers with day-to-day HR issues as they arise, in line with Company culture, HR policy and employment legislation
  • Support HR Manager and Department Managers with grievance/ performance management/ disciplinary matters to ensure a prompt, fair and reasonable process is adhered to and ensuring legal compliance
  • Support the implementation of HR projects, and change initiatives
  • Support the performance appraisal process, assisting in setting objectives and developing performance improvement plans as needed
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and retention.
  • Utilising staff data to report daily KPI’s
  • Managing internal adverts and managing external recruitment via all platforms
  • Support Managers with interview and selection process, ensuring compliance with all legislation requirements
  • Provide a great new starter experience, delivering inductions for new starters and supporting managers with onboarding programmes
  • Embracing continuous improvement methods in relation to people processes
  • Assist and support with review of HR system and administration processes for legislative and ethical audit compliance
  • Championing employee engagement initiatives
  • Support with HR system and administration
