Your new companyHays are partnering with a large organisation based in Chepstow to support with the recruitment for a new permanent Technical Network Architect. The role is permanent, offers flexible hybrid working and offers a salary between £60,000 - £70,000pa depending on experience.Your new roleWithin the role you'll work closely with the Head of Architecture and wider team of architects and act as the Network SME within the team. You'll be responsible for the high level design and continuous improvement of resilient network architecture that supports the organisations critical needs. The role includes network related project work ensuring resilience, scalability, security, and optimal performance across the organisations sites.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to be an experienced Network Architect or Senior Engineer with in depth knowledge of designing and implementing complex IT network architecture. You'll have experience across Routing and Switching, Network Security, Wireless Networking, Cloud Networking and Technical Troubleshooting. You'll need to be an excellent communicator and have good stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical individuals. You'll need to hold relevant Cisco certifications, ideally CCNP but you may be considered with CCNA or other relevant certifications.What you'll get in returnIn return you will work for a growing organisation with an excellent culture and work environment.
