Due to internal promotion, this is a greatopportunity for a Quality and Health & Safety Manager to join a developing manufacturing company in Newport. Part of a globalenvironment improvement product company, this role offersthe opportunity to make continuous improvements with a company employing 38 staff, with great prospects, benefits and early finish Fridays!

The Quality and H&S Manager willmaintain and assist in developing and improving the quality control processes at the site. Ensuring that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard. The Quality Manager (and H&S) should assist in promoting the use of best-practice quality system tools and techniques, ensuring they are applied in a way that benefits the sites performance in the areas of Quality, Cost and Delivery.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met and adhered to, and H&S metrics are maintained (included training and toolbox talks etc).

Qualifications - Minimum

  • Relevant industry recognised Quality Assurance qualification.
  • Good standard of Education, to include English and Maths

Qualifications Desirable

  • Certified Internal Quality Auditor to ISO9001:2015 standard.
  • Good understanding of statistical process control (SPC)
  • ISO 9001, 140001 & 45001 trained
  • Experience in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement techniques & tools 5s, Kaizen etc.
