Quality Manager (Gwent)

Candour Talent is proud to be representing a growing electronics manufacturer in their search for a Quality Manager to join their site in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to join a customer-led, quality-driven team working on diverse and technically advanced projects.

We are looking for a confident and capable professional who can lead the Quality function and take ownership of product and process standards across the site. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality department and drive a 'customer-first' approach throughout the business

  • Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated documentation

  • Implement product and process control strategies to meet customer and regulatory requirements

  • Lead internal, external, and supplier audit programmes

  • Maintain external accreditations and manage customer audits

  • Act as the escalation point for all quality issues

  • Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions

  • Monitor key quality metrics, including cost of quality and customer complaints

  • Set, track, and report on business objectives and KPIs

  • Champion process performance improvement and continuous improvement activities

  • Provide strategic input and guidance on customer satisfaction development

  • Develop, train, and support the quality team to drive best practice and technical knowledge

  • Ensure compliance with ESD, MSD, and FOD procedures

  • Participate in risk management initiatives across internal and external stakeholders



What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior Quality leadership role

  • Strong understanding of industry standards and customer-specific requirements

  • Experience in electronics, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries (preferred)

  • Confident decision-maker with a practical, methodical approach to problem solving

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Degree in a technical or engineering-related discipline (preferred)

  • NADCAP (AC7120 or similar)
