Candour Talent is proud to be representing a growing electronics manufacturer in their search for a Quality Manager to join their site in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to join a customer-led, quality-driven team working on diverse and technically advanced projects.
We are looking for a confident and capable professional who can lead the Quality function and take ownership of product and process standards across the site. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Quality department and drive a 'customer-first' approach throughout the business
Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated documentation
Implement product and process control strategies to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Lead internal, external, and supplier audit programmes
Maintain external accreditations and manage customer audits
Act as the escalation point for all quality issues
Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions
Monitor key quality metrics, including cost of quality and customer complaints
Set, track, and report on business objectives and KPIs
Champion process performance improvement and continuous improvement activities
Provide strategic input and guidance on customer satisfaction development
Develop, train, and support the quality team to drive best practice and technical knowledge
Ensure compliance with ESD, MSD, and FOD procedures
Participate in risk management initiatives across internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Demonstrable experience in a senior Quality leadership role
Strong understanding of industry standards and customer-specific requirements
Experience in electronics, aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries (preferred)
Confident decision-maker with a practical, methodical approach to problem solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Degree in a technical or engineering-related discipline (preferred)
