40,000 - 65,000 per annum DOE

Responsibilities:

A highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our client's team in Newport. Our client, Legal 500 recognised, a forward-thinking and progressive multi-disciplinary law firm, recognised as specialists across rural, development and Investment sectors.

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of commercial property matters, including but not limited to acquisitions and disposals, lease drafting and negotiations, property finance, and landlord and tenant matters.

You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to businesses, landowners, farmers, charities, and individuals from across Wales, the South West of England, and The Three Counties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements.
  • Drafting and negotiating complex lease agreements and other legal documents.
  • Conducting due diligence and providing legal advice on property-related matters.
  • Assisting clients in resolving property disputes and managing landlord and tenant relationships.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions and legal compliance.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling a wide range of commercial property transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Client-focused approach and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
