A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive quality team. Providing to an international supplier base, this company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain QHSE system to achieve compliance and continued approval with ISO 9001, P.E.D. (2014/68/EU), PE(s)R, ATEX
  • Monitor, audit, and report on QHSE performance
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the business' Management Systems to continually develop QHSE and operating standards
  • Manage and develop QHSE staff

QMS:

  • ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance and maintenance
  • Ensuring product traceability
  • Maintenance of internal and external audit plan
  • Planning and execution of internal and supplier audits

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • This position would be suited to a current Quality Engineer who is looking step up and gain further experience.
  • Qualified to technical HND/HNC level or equivalent is desirable but not essential if previous work experience can demonstrate a proven track record and ability within a quality biased manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally qualified to minimum certificate level quality assurance (Charted Quality Institute or BSI) or NVQ business improvement techniques level 2 or 3.
  • Ideally Quality based with customer facing experience form a mechanical engineering background.
