Location: Caldicot, South Wales
Shifts: 4 on, 4 off - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
Strategic Location: Easily commutable from Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow, Avonmouth, Bristol & surrounding areas

The Opportunity:
- Play a critical role in maintaining and optimising high-speed production lines across a fully automated plant.
- Collaborate with an experienced engineering team focused on fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and operational excellence.
- Be a key contributor to plant performance, driving reliability, safety and uptime.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting faults on high-speed production and packaging equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Reporting into senior engineers and contributing to cross-functional projects.
What We're Looking For:
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / C&G / Apprenticeship).
- Proven background in FMCG, Utilities, Heavy Industry, Ex Forces, or similar.
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding experience.
- Familiarity with PLCs and automated equipment is highly advantageous.
- Shift-based work: 4 on / 4 off (2 days & 2 nights).
- Driving licence and access to transport required.
