Site Administrator

Location:Newport and Pontypridd
Pay:15 per hour
Contract Type:6 month temporary contract
Hours:Full-time

We are looking for an organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our client's team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth site operations by handling essential documentation, procurement, and compliance tasks acrosstwo projects: Uskmouth & Cilfynydd.

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering both sites, alternating their workdays as follows:
  • Week 1:3 days at Cilfynydd & 2 days at Uskmouth
  • Week 2:3 days at Uskmouth & 2 days at Cilfynydd
This rotating schedule ensures equal coverage, with an 8-hour working day at each location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scan and upload all delivery notes and relevant site documentation to the shared drive.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and raise requisitions/orders through the procurement team at HQ.
  • Compile and manage data for weekly SHES reporting, ensuring timely submission.
  • Plan and coordinate routine inspections for fire extinguishers, lifting equipment, fire alarms, electrical inspections, and welfare unit certification.
  • Liaise with the security provider for cover arrangements on weekends and bank holidays as required.
  • Transfer completed SMS inspections from Safety Culture to the Weekly Completed folder in the Site Management (SHEQ) system.
About You:
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in a construction or site-based administrative role is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving License to be able to travel to both sites.
