Our client are currently looking for an experienced engineering manager.

Role Overview:As the Fleet Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining their fleet's operational excellence. You'll lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, ensuring that the fleet of commercial vehicles are running smoothly and adhering to safety standards. Your strategic mindset will be essential for implementing maintenance plans, optimizing processes, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver exceptional maintenance and repair services.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless operation of the fleet and address any technical challenges.
Oversee the procurement of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for effective maintenance.
Monitor and analyse fleet performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Prepare and present reports on fleet performance, maintenance activities, and budget management.

Qualifications:

NVQ in HGV/PSV Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, or related roles.
