Hours: 42 hours per week (phone number removed) Mon - Thu, 7.30-4 Fri) plus out of hours call out

Days: Monday - Friday plus out of hours call out ( currently 1 week in 3 but expected to reduce over time)

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

Assemble, install and maintain mechanical components and systems, working to specifications, drawings and RAMS,
Mechanical installation and repair of pumps, fans and gearboxes,
Installation, service and repair of pipework and valves
General steel work, handrails, ladders, platforms and erection of lifting gantries,
Mechanical maintenance and servicing of plant,
Ensure adherence to health and safety, regulatory and quality standards.

Experience:

Must have previous mechanical engineering experience and either full apprenticeship or level 3 qualification in a relevant field plus a CSCS card.
Must have a good level of technical aptitude and problem solving skills, as well as communication and organisational skills.
Must have a good level of computer literacy, full drivers licence and the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Due to the call out requirement of this role, we are only able to consider candidates who are based on the Isle of Wight.

Salary: 17 - 19 per hour DOE plus 200 call out standby/wk and 1.25 per hour call out, (OTE 45,000 plus per annum) plus Van, Fuel Card, Laptop and Phone
