The Role

The Mechanical Technician will need to have prior technical skills gained through an apprenticeship or similar qualification and will work to support crucial site maintenance. As the successful Mechanical Technician you will support on the maintenance, inspection and repair of key equipment and machinery such as drills, lathes, and milling equipment. 

This is a varied role and an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician looking to kick-start their career.

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• An apprenticeship or similar qualification, in a relevant subject / discipline

• A strong technical understanding - ideally with experience within the heavy industry

• A good understanding of general maintenance activities i.e. equipment repairs & fittings

• Any experience with machine shop skills such as drills, lathes, and milling equipment would also be advantageous
