Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Technician/Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the commissioning and decommissioning of equipment, provide technical support, and deliver training to clients. You will play a crucial role in optimising equipment performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning & Decommissioning:
    • Advise clients on optimal workshop arrangements.
    • Coordinate installation and commissioning across various sites.
    • Manage pre-shipment preparation and packing for decommissioning.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Ensure availability of up-to-date equipment documentation.
    • Train and audit client personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
    • Issue training reports and certificates.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide Level 3 technical support on-site and remotely.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance and advise on local supply of parts.
    • Monitor equipment standardisation and supervise upgrades.
  • Supervision & Reporting:
    • Monitor production output and recommend improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with documentation and procedures.
    • Report deviations and propose action plans for performance improvement.

  • Conflict management and responsible decision-making.
  • Strong reporting and communication abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or NVQ or time served in related field.
  • Experience in customer service, quality control, or inspection is beneficial.
  • Experience on international projects is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (30% to 50% of the time).
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Technical skills in electrical, mechanical, automation, or hydraulic systems.
