Job Title: Production Manager

Salary: Up to £45k
Hours: Monday to Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join a large and growing FMCG manufacturing business based in South Wales. The company is undergoing significant growth and is looking for a strong leader to help support the production team during this exciting phase.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Manager:
- Full accountability for your area, ensuring optimal performance, quality, safety, finished goods, and adherence to GMP standards.
- Implement the department’s one-year strategic plan, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Coach and mentor your team, equipping them with the skills to meet their objectives and fostering development within their own teams.
- Identify opportunities for greater efficiency in key areas, such as labor utilization, quality, waste reduction, materials, and packaging improvements.
The Ideal Production Manager will have:
The successful candidate will have experience working within a food manufacturing setting, ideally within a chilled environment. You will have a proven track record of leading multi-functional teams and possess excellent managerial skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams effectively.
