- Day Rate: £29.00 per hour
- Night/Saturday Rate: £33.00 per hour
- Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £37.00 per hour
- Crisis Support: Provide intensive support and treatment to service users in crisis as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working to prevent hospital admissions and maintain individuals in the community.
- Clinical Decision-Making: Conduct thorough assessments and make autonomous clinical decisions for a high-risk user population.
- Care Planning: Take responsibility for the planning and delivery of care, ensuring a high standard of service that meets the needs of people requiring acute intervention.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, family members, and external agencies (such as local authorities and housing providers) to manage risks and provide integrated care.
- Mental Health Act Assessments: Participate in Mental Health Act assessments and contribute to decision-making around hospital admissions.
- 24/7 Rotational Coverage: Work a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and night shifts as part of a 24/7 service, including Bank Holidays.
- Proven experience as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, ideally in a Crisis Resolution or Home Treatment setting.
- Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
- Ability to work independently, making clinical decisions in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working with high-risk service users, demonstrating excellent risk assessment and management skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with a wide range of professionals and family members.
- Ability to work flexibly across a 24/7 rota, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing (RMN), Social Work (SW), or Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Active registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
