Band 5 RMNIsle of Wight NHS TrustSeagrove PICU WardSt Mary's Hospital, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TGMonday to Sunday (Earlys, lates, long days, some nights but mainly day shifts)£24ph Weekdays, £26ph Saturday and Nights, £30ph Sundays and Bank HolidaysSeagrove Ward is a PICU for acutely unwell patients with complex issues and often high risk behaviours.Job PurposeYou will be responsible for the delivery of the highest professional standard of care, assessment, treatment and support of people within the Service.This post is designed to be flexible within Mental Health Access and Acute Services.The post holder would be expected to work across all of Mental Health Services should the need arise.Key ResponsibilitiesTo demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and leadership in respect of all colleagues.To act as role model to the Support Workers and other staff.To plan, implement and provide meaningful activity for patients within in-patient services.To provide patients with assessments, care plans and treatment plans as appropriate, and ensure that these are put into practice and evaluated.To contribute to new service developments and actively take these forward as required.To be flexible and work with colleagues to promote the best outcomes for patientsWe also offer a £250 bonus for starting this contract this will be paid out to you after 150 hours completed (4 Weeks)If you know anyone who may be interested in the position we can also offer a £250 referral feeIf this is of interest, please just respond to this email or call Jake on .
