About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting children and adolescents in achieving their developmental milestones and enhancing their ability to participate in everyday activities. This position involves working closely with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify developmental, sensory, and motor challenges.
    • Utilize standardized tools and observations to evaluate the child’s abilities and needs.
    • Collaborate with families and educators to gather comprehensive background information.
  2. Intervention Planning and Implementation:

    • Develop individualized intervention plans that align with the child’s goals and family priorities.
    • Implement therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, daily living activities, and play-based learning.
    • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  3. Family and Caregiver Support:

    • Educate families on strategies to support their child’s development at home.
    • Provide resources and training to caregivers and educators to ensure consistent application of therapeutic techniques.
    • Foster a collaborative relationship with families to create a supportive care environment.
