Piers Meadows Recruitment are looking for a band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to work in mental health in South Wales.

  • To start ASAP and be ongoing
  • Adult mental health occupational therapy team.
  • Working independently, the post holder will manage a varied and complex caseload providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention to adults with mental health difficulties who have been admitted to either the psychiatric intensive care unit or an inpatient unit.
  • Main duties: to carry out specialist occupational therapy assessments, including in home and community settings, carry out and interpret MOHO standardised assessments.Independently plan, implement, evaluate and review treatment plans on an individual and group basis.Actively engage carers/families in the therapeutic process, motivating and supporting them to take responsibility for decision making and goal setting
