About the Role

We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a NHS Hospital in Isle of Wight. This is an exciting opportunity to work across inpatient and community settings, covering a variety of specialist areas.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based, patient-centred approaches.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.
  • Work across different specialist areas within inpatient and community settings.
  • Supervise and support Occupational Therapy students on placement.
  • Provide leadership to junior staff, including Band 5 OTs and therapy assistants.
  • Contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy service.
  • Maintain HCPC registration and engage in ongoing professional development.
