FLT Counterbalance Driver

Great opportunity to work as FLT Counterbalance Driver for our client's busy site, producing healthy snacks and protein bars based in Newport.

The rate of pay starts at £13.15 per hour.

This is a strictly full-time position only, offering fixed morning, afternoon, and night shifts based on weekly rotation (Monday - Friday). The hours of work are:
- Days 6am to 2pm
- Afternoons 2pm to 10pm
- Nights 10pm to 6am

This role is only available for up to 8 weeks.

Experience in a similar role is required.

Your Time at Work

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties include:

- Discharging duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Using all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
- Receiving goods and checking into the warehouse accurately.
- Placing goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering
- Assisting in loading vehicles and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
- Moving various different goods using FLT Counterbalance

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following skills:

- Previous warehousing experience is desirable
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
- Ability and willingness to follow the instructions of management, and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner
- You will need to hold a license to operate a FLT Counterbalance and have previous experience operating one.
- Flexi Truck license is desirable but not essential
