Staffroom Education are currently short-listing for a TESOL Teacher vacancy within a Secondary School in Newport. This is a full-time position starting from November 2024, and will continue until December 2024. The person specification for this role recommends a determined and passionate teacher wgho can teach, skills, personal development, English to learners new to English, and health and wellbeing, with the ability to develop, encourage and inspire learning at their core.

Job Requirements:

  • A first-class subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 & 4

  • Thorough classroom management strategies

  • A passion for raising student expectations and achievements

  • The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and pupils

  • The ability to remain up to date with educational developments and changes whilst undertaking the role

  • Awareness of and compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection
