Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a prestigious NHS Hospital in South Wales, starting January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with prior experience in ward-based work, particularly within Critical Care Wards.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, offering a great work-life balance, with 7.5 hours per day and a 30-minute break. You will be paid at competitive rates, ranging from £35-48 per hour, with increased rates for this role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services within Critical Care Wards.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Review and monitor patient medications, ensuring accurate and safe prescribing.
- Advise on pharmaceutical care for patients in critical and intensive care.
- Manage ward-based dispensing and supply services.
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience covering wards in an NHS setting.
- Prior experience working within Critical Care Wards.
- Registered with the GPhC.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
