We are currently seeking a Band 5 ACT / MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Key Responsiblities:Â
- Work as part of the pharmacy team to provide effective dispensing and clinical services, including ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) and MMT (Monitored Medicine Therapy) support.
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate preparation and supply of medicines to patients.
- Provide medication advice and support to the healthcare team, ensuring optimal use of medications.
- Assist in the management of patient medication therapy, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures.
- Contribute to the pharmacy team’s continuous improvement efforts and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and clinical guidelines.
Requirements:Â
- Prior hospital experience is essential.
- Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an ACT qualification.
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy services, medication dispensing, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Pay Rate:Â
- £20 - £24 per hour, depending on experience.
