Band 6 Physio - MSK outpatients

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Outpatient Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services while supporting service development and junior staff mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive MSK assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and patient education to support recovery and injury prevention.
  • Utilize a patient-centered approach to facilitate optimal outcomes and self-management.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and legal standards.
  • Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support and mentor Band 5 Physiotherapists, students, and therapy assistants.
  • Stay up to date with current MSK research and best practices to inform clinical decision-making.
