We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance & Sustainability Officer to join our client an  innovative manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience in business, a keen interest in compliance and sustainability, and a drive to contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Collaborate with the business improvement team on compliance and sustainability projects.
  • Engage with external and internal stakeholders to build expertise in line with industry best practices.
  • Stay abreast of changes to standards and new initiatives that could benefit the company.
  • Ensure the company maintains relevant accreditations and act as the go-to resource for compliance.
  • Provide training and support across the business and represent the company with accrediting organisations.
  • Support the product management team in ensuring compliance of products, aiding in new product development and international compliance.
  • Drive energy and carbon reduction initiatives to support the company’s sustainability targets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s sustainability strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a business environment, with a preference for those in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in roles involving compliance and/or sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Quick learning ability with effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Confidence in leading decision-making meetings and articulating ideas persuasively.
