 Mechanical Piping Supervisor - Newport Data Centre

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Supervisor for a data centre project in Newport. This role involves overseeing all piping activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The successful candidate will coordinate with the construction team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage piping activities, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  • Interpret and enforce piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement layouts.
  • Supervise hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, and other commissioning activities.
  • Conduct inspections and work closely with the Quality Control team.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures related to piping work.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the site team, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and manage piping crews, including pipefitters, welders, and laborers.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on piping activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing piping activities on large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of piping materials and installation techniques.
