My client has an immediate opportunity for a Head of Safety & Compliance to join their Property Services Team on a Permanent basis.

The successful applicant will deliver effective leadership, ensuring Health and Safety is managed and maintained across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of the 'Big 6'. Managing and maintaining environmental standards and accreditations.
  • Provide support to directorship on health and safety, compliance, environmental and management of facilities across the organisation.
  • Provide effective leadership and operational management of the Facilities and Compliance team, including service delivery, recruitment, staff development and performance management.
  • Develop and demonstrate continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment management systems, produce robust policies, procedures and strategies, embracing legislative changes.
  • Contribute to corporate planning, risk management, internal and external audits and budget setting and management of expenditure.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (e.g. Health and Safety NEBOSH diploma) or equivalent level gained through relevant training and /or work experience
  • Chartered Member of ISOH (CMISO) or willing to works towards
  • Full valid driving licence
