Alecto Recruitment are partnering with a leading figure within the Waste Management sector who is actively looking to recruit a Principal Business Manager to drive the expansion of their waste division.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively drive the expansion of the waste business by identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities.
* Develop and implement strategies that align operational management with business growth goals.
* Lead the Trade Waste Operations Teams with a strong emphasis on maximizing sales and driving business development.
* Oversee the operational budget and resources, focusing on cost-effective approaches that support business growth.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to sales and operational efficiency, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to establish and maintain systems within the Company's Integrated Management System, enabling effective measurement and reporting of operational issues, opportunities, and achievements to support contract delivery within agreed formats and timelines.
* Stay informed of market trends and the competitive landscape to guide strategic decisions and identify potential growth areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar position within the waste management sector or similar.
* Strong background in business development and sales.
* Degree/Foundation degree/HND in Engineering or a related field.
* WAMITAB COTC (level 4) is preferred.
* Outstanding leadership capabilities
* Strategic planning proficiency
* Strong business development skills
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project
