We are seeking an enthusiastic PE teacher to join our highly regarded Secondary School in Newport. You will play a vital role in contributing to the school's success and be comfortable taking on a timetable that includes AS and A-Level classes. This is a temporary position that offers excellent opportunities for growth and progression.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to our school ethos by delivering excellent teaching and providing exceptional pastoral care to our students. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in our exciting extra-curricular programme.

The ideal PE teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a broad range of coaching qualifications with a relevant higher-level diploma;
  • Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector;
  • The ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions, aligned with the National Curriculum;
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies effectively.
