Your new school I am recruiting for a Teacher of Welsh language in a large secondary school in Newport that has over 1000 pupils. The school have excellent facilities and the staff work hard to provide clear pathways for the children to succeed. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling. Your new roleStarting ASAP, you will be teaching a full-time Welsh timetable. Your role will include:
- Full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking.
- Teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 second language Welsh.
- Pastoral duties including parents evenings and being a form tutor.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will hold a valid PGCE, ideally with QTS.
- Previous experience teaching Welsh up to KS5
- Strong behavioural management skills
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
- Up to date EWC registration.
