We are seeking a Senior Natural Language Processing Developer to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for someone who has been instrumental in delivering technical solutions within large projects and is experienced with modern delivery models like Scrum and Agile methodologies. The candidate should have a strong desire to delve into statistical modelling methods, including machine learning and AI techniques, and possess a solid understanding of databases.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement advanced natural language processing systems using Python and modern deep learning frameworks.
  • Engage in the full development cycle of models from concept to production, including continuous improvements.
  • Utilise Azure Machine Learning Studio and other cloud-hosted development environments for project development.
  • Implement data engineering principles and maintain awareness of security implications of large language models (LLMs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP technologies that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain source code using Git.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends in NLP and machine learning to enhance project outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Natural Language Processing Developer or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with modern deep learning frameworks.
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling methods, machine learning, and AI techniques.
  • Good understanding of databases and data engineering principles.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted development environments, preferably Azure Machine Learning Studio.
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control.
  • Ability to deliver models from concept to production and conduct continuous improvements.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
