Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact in their social and educational development? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a KS1 class on a part time, long term basis until the end of the Academic Year (July 2025)

About the role:

Position - Learning Support Assistant (KS1)

Location - A large, vibrant Primary School in Newport

Hours - Monday - Wednesday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Pay - £89 - £95 per day

Contract - Temporary (covering a long-term sickness)

End Date: July 2025 (End of the academic year)

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be playing a key role in ensuring that students receive the support they need. You will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing 1:1 support to children who need it most, creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What do we need from you?

  • An enhanced DBS and registration with the Education Workforce Council (We can assist you with this)
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Availability - be able to work Monday to Wednesday until the end of the academic year (July 2025)
