Role Overview:
As a Life Skills Teacher, you will play a key role in equipping students with practical skills that enhance their personal development, foster independence, and build self-confidence.
You will deliver engaging lessons that cover a range of topics such as financial literacy, emotional intelligence, communication, problem-solving, time management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive lessons in life skills, ensuring content is age-appropriate and engaging.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' personal growth and well-being.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable participating and expressing themselves.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to identify student needs and create individualized learning plans when necessary.
- Stay updated on best practices in teaching life skills and integrate innovative approaches into your lessons.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status or Further Education Status
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching life skills or a related subject is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for helping students build practical, real-world skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
