Senior Accountant

We are recruiting a role for a trusted partner in Newport. The primary responsibility of the Qualified Senior Accountant is to assist the Head of Finance and the broader department by providing crucial financial oversight and strategic business management support. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of key priorities. Through this support, the aim is to contribute to the overall financial health and operational success of the organisation, helping to align financial strategies to ensure that resources are optimally managed to meet both short-term and long-term goals.

The main duties of the Senior Accountant role include:

• Preparation of the annual financial statements and corresponding notes and disclosure.
• Managing treasury function.
