Contracts & Procurement Manager 

We are seeking a motivated and tenacious Contracts & Procurement Manager to join our Operational Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work closely with service delivery teams to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and pricing from our suppliers. This role is crucial for maintaining customer and supplier relationships, overseeing contract management, and supporting the Legal Director in developing bespoke contracts. 

Day to Day of the role: 

  • Manage the full portfolio of contracts, including initiation, agreement, supplier management, variation, renewal, and expiration. 

  • Leading a team of 2 x Procurement & Contract Coordinators 

  • Assist with the review of tender bid processes or mini-competitions, ensuring appropriate documentation is used. 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and supplier agreements to agree on terms. 

  • Support Account Managers in ensuring supplier adherence to contracts. 

  • Maintain orderly contract management through to expiration, managing variations, exits, renewals, or subsequent tenders. 

  • Develop best practice procedures for contract management and administration. 

  • Monitor work in progress and manage all contractual records, logs, and databases with accuracy. 

  • Build, manage, and maintain supplier relationships across the supply chain. 

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder communication to secure high levels of commitment during the sourcing process and implementation. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in contract and procurement management. 

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with various contract templates. 

  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure adherence to contracts. 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Experience in managing a team and direct reports.
