Candour Talent is proud to be representing an innovative electronics manufacturer in their search for a Test Engineer to join their growing team in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to support production testing, lead new product introductions (NPI), and drive improvements across a range of cutting-edge projects.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronics testing and a desire to progress their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain production test equipment used for functional testing
Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring seamless handover from development to production
Generate and update detailed test instructions for various product lines
Train and support Test Technicians, ensuring best practices are upheld
Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement relevant updates to test processes and equipment
Troubleshoot electronic hardware and resolve test-related issues
Operate and manage electronic test systems (hardware and software) to ensure product quality
What We're Looking For
Strong understanding of electronics and hands-on experience in hardware testing
Proven experience with testing of PCB and High-Level Assemblies (HLA)
Familiarity with electronic test equipment and systems
Knowledge of LabVIEW and TestStand (highly desirable)
Minimum HNC in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years in electronics test engineering)
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to generate technical documentation
Motivated to succeed and develop both technically and professionally
