We have an opportunity for a full-time, permanent, Graphics Packaging Developer to join our Graphics Packaging team at the Innovation Centre in Shropshire. The successful candidate will control all graphic packaging projects within their area of focus, from implementation, critical path management and packaging projects. The role reports into the Graphic Packaging Team Lead and sits within the Regulatory Affairs team.
This is a hybrid role requiring and requires 3 days/week in office at the Innovation Centre (Harper Adams University, Shropshire).
YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY
- Liaising with internal customers and nominated Packaging Suppliers to ensure awareness, accountability and fluent project delivery.
- Liaising with internal customers and their nominated design/repro houses, including visits where necessary to ensure satisfactory critical paths, action plans are in place for all relevant projects.
- Controlling Own Label & Saputo branded graphic packaging projects within your area, from implementation, critical path management and packaging projects via central work process tools.
- Attending all 1st production print runs of new branded products and private label film wraps to ensure correct result, consistency and alignment to print tolerance.
- Providing print, design and colour management expertise for Saputo Dairy UK.
- Support with development and maintenance of colour management policy and colour library.
YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in packaging design and print management.
- A Strong Project Manager with the ability to take the lead.
- Fluently PC literate (Adobe CS Suite, Cloud Flow)
- Experienced with colour measuring equipment.
- Knowledgeable of technical print processes and reprographics.
