Owen Payne Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established client in the agriculture and food production industry. We are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive Engineering Administrator to join their growing team based in TF10.

This is a permanent position from day one, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied, fast-paced, and supportive environment. Note: No public transport!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily updates to planning and scheduling boards
  • Manage and maintain CMMS data (Computerised Maintenance Management System)

  • Coordinate holiday requests, team rotas, and return-to-work forms

  • Maintain the Time Management System (TMS)

  • Create and manage reports, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations

  • Track and update training records, support training scheduling

  • Manage PPE orders and inventory

  • Carry out daily process checks and flag issues/non-conformities

  • Organise and maintain engineering documentation and filing systems

  • Assist with basic updates using CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)

  • Liaise with suppliers, OEMs, and contractors

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous administrative experience (engineering or manufacturing experience desirable)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Experience with CMMS systems (advantageous)

  • An appreciation or interest in working within an agricultural setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

  • City & Guilds CAD qualifications (Level 2 or 3) desirable

  • Basic knowledge of engineering or maintenance terminology is a bonus
