About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team across multiple sites in Newport, Southampton, and Christchurch. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a competitive PAYE salary and the option for a company car or car allowance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a multidiscipline maintenance team covering Electrical, Fabric, Plumbing, and Mechanical/AC service streams, ensuring seamless customer service and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a multidiscipline maintenance team across three sites.
  • Act as the technical lead on any issues that arise across the sites.
  • Oversee subcontracted visitors and manage external relationships.
  • Monitor and report on agreed KPIs, ensuring performance exceeds required deliverables.
  • Embed a culture of Health & Safety compliance across the team.
  • Manage internal teams, including recruitment, induction, training, and development.
  • Create cost reports for review by the client.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of managing an engineering team.
  • Experience of managing client expectations.
  • Proven ability to deliver against KPIs and work with SLAs.
  • Excellent partnering, collaborative working, engagement, influencing, and communication skills.
  • IWFM and IOSH Tech qualifications are essential.

Additional Information:

  • The role will involve weekly travel to the Fareham site (2 days on-site, 1 overnight stay).
  • Mileage expenses for travel to the Fareham site will be reimbursed.
  • Train and accommodation arrangements for travel will be organized directly by VINCI.
