Shipping Co-Ordinator (FLT Reach Licence Required)
Newport, Wales | £20.00 Days, £35.81 Evenings | 12 Month Contract
Shipping Co-Ordinator required to join a positive and friendly team. Working in a state-of-the-art purpose built facility (with on-site parking). The role will be Monday to Fridays, early finishes on Fridays, with potential over time rates up to £35.81 per hour.
Successful candidate will manage all documentation relating to this, dealing with any enquires that arise and maintain communication with the warehouse, couriers/agents and customer depots to ensure smooth delivery of orders.
Shift Times:
07:00-16:00 Monday – Thursday & Fridays 07:00-13:00
Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of stock and distribution
- Planning of transportation
- Picking and packing of goods
- Booking of NCR’s materials for shipping
- Insuring packing lists and commercial invoices are raised and sent with every delivery.
- Ensuring that proof of deliveries is completed and filed
- Loading and closing of Baan shipping orders
We are seeking an individual with shipping Co-Ordinator skills who is able to work independently and manage their own time. You must have experience operating a Reach Truck. (In house License accepted.) and will require good IT skills with the ability to use an MRP system and PDA, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
Essentials
- FLT Reach licence and driving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate (Excel, MRP, PDA experience)
Other information: A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
