1:1 Teaching Assistant
Long Term Teachers is currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support students within a mainstream Primary School. Your role will be based within the classroom but may also require 1:1 support such as help with reading, wrting and also assist with behaviour management.
The ideal candidate would have previousely worked with children with SEN within Education, however, if you have experience as a support worker or health care worker we would love to hear from you!
Duties include:
- Supporting the teacher during lessons
- supervise individual groups
- get the classroom ready for lessons
- behaviour management
- accompany the class during visits and outings
- support children with reading
- work alongside the SENCO and monitor or asses students progress
