Role and Responsibilities
The Head of Visibility is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the SEO & Marketing team. This role involves leading the department to deliver high-quality organic SEO and paid media services for new and existing sites while managing customer relationships. You will play a crucial part in driving the success and elevating our SEO practices to new heights.
Team Leadership:
? Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for the SEO & Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
? Train and mentor team members to promote professional development and enhance team
flexibility.
? Encourage the sharing of best practices and peer mentoring within the team.
Project Management:
? Oversee and ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of departmental projects and tasks,
adhering to high-quality standards.
? Continuously enhance processes to improve delivery, quality, and profitability.
Quality Assurance:
? Ensure the quality of all deliverables through rigorous quality assurance processes. Client Understanding and Relationship Management:
? Gain a deep understanding of customer intent and requirements to tailor strategies effectively.
? Build and nurture client relationships to enhance team performance and deliver exceptional clientresults.
SEO Implementation and Optimisation:
? Implement and optimise both onsite and offsite SEO strategies to drive organic growth.
? Conduct comprehensive site research, audits, and analysis to identify key opportunities for
improvement.
? Design and optimise site architecture to enhance user experience and SEO performance. Performance Monitoring and Competitor Analysis:
? Continuously monitor site performance and implement strategies for ongoing optimisation.
? Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Subject Matter Expertise and Thought Leadership:
? Stay updated on the latest SEO and technology developments through continuous research andnetworking.
? Develop and deliver in-house and external training on SEO best practices and related technologies.
? Establish yourself as a trusted expert and contribute to thought leadership in the SEO sector.
Strategic Contribution:
? Develop and implement strategies to enhance authority and visibility in the market.
? Collaborate with senior leadership and other team leaders to develop and refine the technical
strategy.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
? Preferred: A degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalentprofessional experience.
Skills & Knowledge
? Up-to-date, detailed knowledge of organic SEO, particularly with a focus on Google.
? Proficient in using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
? Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact onSEO.
? Experience with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
? Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace.
