Are you an experienced Productivity Engineer with a passion for Microsoft 365 technologies? Our client, a prestigious institution in the higher education sector, is seeking a skilled Productivity Engineer to join their IT team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing Microsoft 365 productivity services, including SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Project Online, and the Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the resolution of incidents and service requests related to Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
- Support the implementation of technological change across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Assist in service improvements, ensuring the institution benefits from the latest advancements in IT productivity.
- Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and implement sustainable IT solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to deliver outstanding service.
- Contribute to the development of fit-for-purpose IT solutions, ensuring optimal value for investment.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and training.
Essential:
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Office 365 components (SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, etc.).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex IT issues.
- Experience working with IT service management processes (incident, change, and problem management).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to produce technical documentation (Runbooks, How-to Guides).
Desirable:
- Experience administering a Microsoft 365 tenancy.
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
- ITIL Foundation qualification.
- Understanding of IT security protocols and industry standards.
