Logistics Operative - Tool Lead - Newquay - PermanentAre you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics and tool management? Our client a world leading aircraft Maintenance repair and overhaul company are seeking a dynamic Logistics Operative - Tool Lead to become an integral part of our logistics team. This critical role ensures smooth day-to-day tooling and logistics support for both line and base maintenance operations. You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team on the day shift or independently during the night shift, depending on business needs.Key Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to company logistic processes and procedures.Shift Pattern: Day or Night Shifts (based on business needs)Identify and suggest process improvements for greater efficiency.Attend team planning, review meetings, and daily work allocation briefs.Conduct internal logistic assurance checks and ensure tooling management procedures are followed.Provide essential support to line maintenance during each shift.Prepare and conduct thorough handover briefs at the end of each shift.Ensure timely handling of emails related to tooling and logistics support.Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) when required.Assist with on-the-job staff training and competency checks to ensure team proficiency.Deputise for the Logistic Team Lead during absences and manage KPIs and reporting.Support logistic assurance programme checks and escalate concerns as needed.What We're Looking For:A hands-on team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously during night shifts and collaboratively during day shifts.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to logistics management.Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to operate within risk assessment guidelines.Previous experience in logistics, tool management, or a similar role is advantageous.Why Join Us?This is more than just a job - it's a chance to be part of a leading-edge team, working in a high-impact role that supports critical maintenance operations.
