Holiday Cottage Cleaner

We're looking for Holiday Cottage Cleaners to clean and prepare our stunning holiday cottages in North Cornish coastline encompassing Park Head, St. Eval.

This position will cover the Park Head area, consisting of a small cluster of cottages that have access to the beautiful South West Coast Path and proximity to some of North Cornwall hidden coves and beautiful bays.

Hours: 5 hours per week or 260 hours per year. Changeover days can fall Monday to Saturday, so flexibility is essential due to popular short breaks and late bookings. Changeover times vary between 4.5 – 5 hours. Your start time would be typically 9.30 – 10 am. You’ll work 5 hours per week with more hours available at busy times of the year.  Your monthly pay, based on 5 hours per week will be £249 per month or £11.50 per hour.

Because Park Head, PL27 7UU is in a rural area, please think about how you’d be able to get here for work, before you apply for this job. Free parking is available at our cottages.

Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Reporting to one of the Holidays Assistant Manager, you’ll be supporting our holidays business, caring for our highly sought after accommodation.

Your start time would be typically 9.30 – 10 am. You’ll work a minimum of 5 hours per week with more hours available at busy times of the year. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.  Our holiday business operates year-round.

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

You'll receive a thorough induction and guidance to enable you to confidently carry out compliance checks.  We will give you plenty of support and training with some E-learning modules. You’ll be very much part of our wider Holidays family and be a valued member of our award-winning team.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
