Motorcycle Mechanic / Technician

We are looking for a qualified mechanic / technician to head up our new motorcycle repair and MOT center in Newquay, Cornwall.

The job involves the general repair and maintenance of motorcycles including MOT's, tyres and servicing and would involve being in charge of the workshop.

We are an independently owned, local workshop with a friendly, open atmosphere and we are looking for someone who would like to work in a local shop providing top quality services at an affordable price to our customers.

We have a strong focus on exceptional customer service as-well as looking after our staff with a range of bonuses available.

The right candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years experience
  • Be able to confidently perform all routine motorcycle repairs and maintenance, including tyre repairs
  • Work with current diagnostic equipment
  • Be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner
  • Be MOT certified, or prepared to undergo certification (employer covers cost)
  • Have excellent communications skills face to face and on the phone
  • Be a team player, willing to go that extra mile for our customers and colleagues
  • Have a full car and motorcycle licence with clean driving history
